Grabe naaadik na ko sa blog. To think that I have uber lotsa things in line!
Anyway.. I like reading. I CAN'T NOT read. A movie line says, "Ignorance is bliss." Yeah, it's pretty scary to know a lot but it's definitely a plus when you're educated, right? Why am I even telling this?
I guess I'm just being a paranoid about what I've read earlier, as in first thing in the morning when I woke up. I was having productive cough and fever-like churva. So, I searched for my ever favorite book about infectious dses. There's this certain bacteria (I won't say what it's called.) that I was exposed to. I know I should have protected myself and applied preventive measures. I know that. But I didn't do anything. Huhuhu.
So when I read about the bacteria, I was in dread. I had awful thoughts. What does it say?
"_____ primarily are the major causes of nosocomial infections. A person suspected to be infected with _____ should be treated at once."
Damn.
I told Manang, "Pag ako lang talaga nagka-fever and chills, susugod na ko sa ospital. Magpapa-blood extraction na 'ko o sputum exam."
Waaaaaaaaaaa!
Well, so far, wala naman akong fever. Thank God. It's a lesson in disguise for me to always bear in mind now that I'm a health care provider, and that I should protect myself at all times.
So, my advice for the day is: "Quit reading."
No. Of course, we should. I mean we must. You must.
I once dreamt of being an Infection Control Nurse, so as to render care to those that are isolated and kind of "walang gustong lumapit". Shucks, naubusan ako ng pang-translate! ;p Anyway.. but because of "this", ayoko na po.
THINGS TO DO YET I WON'T
