week's almost over! hah!
today was a lousy "duty" day... we vaccinated at a squatter's area, as our clinical instructor says..but I doubt that.. then we attended a health teaching on DHF (dengue hemorrhagic fever) given by the rural health physician. she was good actually! most of what she mentioned were not really new to us.. but of course, we were informed of recent DOH updates on the dengue sensitivity in cavite. they don't really refer to it as an outbreak or endemic..but rather Philippines as dengue-sensitive. i also learned about the indiscriminate fogging of affected areas.
anyway, we spent our rare free time, like 2.5 hours playing charades. I bet tomorrow will be just as fun! a little deprived of time for that because we'll be having our home visit for our family case study..
at the end of the day, it was fun playing silly games.. and being the game master?!
